Very helpful after stroke
Very helpful. My husband is nonverbal after multiple strokes and these flashcards are helping him communicate his needs.

Close to perfect?
After buying a few sets of [color] flash cards, I finally found this set that has easy to read and has examples of that color on each card, and have more than just red, blue, and yellow. The only downside to the cards is they each have a hole punched in them and are held together with a metal ring. Flipping through them is cumbersome and the holes compromise the durability of the cards, especially when kiddos like to throw things across the room. All in all, better than other sets I've used.

The set is pretty thorough, and my clients are learning, but...
I use this set daily as a behaviour technician. It's easy to discern and the front-and-back notation is super helpful. My main issue with this set is the lack of ethnic representation among the models. It does not reflect my clients' experiences in a large city.Otherwise, I deeply appreciate the variety of jobs represented and the sturdiness of the cards, and the holes and ring.

Its great
This is great cause it shows you how to pronounce the word and if that doesn't help you, you get a qrcode on the back so you can scan it and it will take you to this website where they teach you how to pronounce the word and you can also translate it to another language.

Too glossy
These are so glossy that the brown looks black and I have to hold them at an angle so that it actually looks brown. The Navy Blue card is pointless so I threw it away.

Perfect tool to engage a 20 month old.
Living in different states, engaging a 20 month old grandchild on a video call is difficult at best. Enter flash cards with all her favorite animals! Now we spend time naming all the animals and rehearsing their specific sounds. I can get at least 3-4 minutes of focus!
