Soldering secret sauce
brings your tips back to like new so that solder sticks. I found I got best results at 275C and It's very hard until you melt your tip into it. It looks like grey clay but it makes your tips brilliant silver. Key part of maintenance now. Also, the container is tiny but a little goes a long way. In my experience the effect lasts longer than 1 use and when you do re-tin you barely notice a change in product quantity. I would think you aren't using the product right if you don't get hundreds of uses out of it.

Works very well on my soldering station.
Wet sponge is great but this adds to the super clean tip. It seems to remove more crap off the tip than just a sponge.

Product Description is incorrect
The description states 8oz, but the delivered item only contains 1/10th of the amount (0.8oz). Very disappointing. It is even more disappointing that Amazon refuses to correct this mistake and continues to disapprove this review. We are at a point where ratings have become meaningless and customers first look elsewhere to order products. Weller is a good company, but this Amazon front needs a review of all product descriptions.
