I’ll start by saying I find it aggravating that I needed to buy this. But the design of the lint filters on the LG dryers is so poor, that you absolutely need this item. I could not clean the dryer vent properly with any of the attachments on my vacuum cleaner, but this flexible attachment works extremely well in getting into the lint filter area and sucking out all the built-up lint that you can’t otherwise reach. It is also very easy to attach to your vacuum cleaner and it seems well designed to work with most vacuum cleaners. I highly recommend this item if you have the type of lint filter that slides down into a crevice and does a poor job of catching all the lint. It seems like vacuuming out the filter area using this attachment about once a month will do the trick.

My terrible LG dryer that came with the house requires a vac attachment like this, because it is terribly designed (like many other LG products I've dealt with over the years), and at least ten percent of the lint goes past the filter and into the tight spaces of the dryer. This attachment gets where it needs to go, and pulls out the mess for me with limited effort. I often find other clean-up jobs where this attachment saves me a lot of hassle as well.I actually purchased this to replace one from the same manufacturer that I bought years ago but ended up breaking. I'm not going to blame the manufacturer for that old one breaking, as I used it for more than the intended purpose and definitely stepped on it and did other things that damaged it.This new one seems a bit more flexible than the old one and actually fits better inside my dryer's lint trap area. The rubber "adapter" on this is also better for my Shark rocket than the old one was. I can simply put a "crevice tool" on the end of the Shark and put it into the adapter, instead of having to attach a round-ended hose to the Shark in order to get it to attach.

I have an Amana brand washer and dryer (side note: they suck, don’t ever buy Amana). I always clean the vent after each time of using the dryer, but lint falls down into the deep deeeeeeep crevices that are impossible to clean or reach without some type of extender. I got this because the lint build up was finally getting to the point of needing to be cleaned out. I have 2 vacuums to start. I typically using my cordless vacuum as it’s just easier to get around, so I tried that first. Bad idea. The hose fit on easily but it turned my vacuum into a tornado, or so it sounded. I have no idea why but it made my cordless vacuum go nuts. It sounded like it was going to catch on fire, its suctioning volume was insanely loud. So I wouldn’t recommend using it on a cordless vacuum. I tried it on my older corded vacuum, I’m lucky I kept that thing now. Worked perfect, 10/10. The hose fit on it great, and it got about 90% of the lint out of the deep crevices.

This vacuum attachment works very well to get the lint out of my gas dryer. The attachment wand allows the suction to reach the bottom of the vent system where the extraction motor is located. It was a yearly job to take the front lower panel off the gas dryer and remove the front of the extraction motor inlet housing to get the lint out. Now I can do deep cleaning after every load. An electric dryer would benefit even more from deep cleaning removal of lint.

Seems well made. However, I’m just not really sure what this does that I couldn’t have done equally as well or better with a feather-duster–or stiff brush–and the crevice tool already included with my vacuum.Maybe it’s the design of my dryer, but all I could get to was the area that the lint screen fits into. I could see into that recess where it exited to go to the internal port of the dryer and then out to the vent, but it was a hard 90° at the bottom corner of said very narrow slot. There was no way to get the brush or vacuum nozzle to make that turn, so all I could clean was the lint screen’s “home”. Like I said, the feather-duster, short brush, and/or vacuum attachments I already own would have done the job.

I wanted to come up with some type of tubing to insert into the laundry dryer vent to clean it. However this item came out to be exactly what I was looking for. It could go inside the vent without any difficulty and I was able to connect it to the suction unit without any issue. I regularly clean the vent filter after every load. However this tubing made it easy to clean further. The brush is additional help to loose the lint sticking to the sides and bottom of the vent. Overall, it is a good buy. I am satisfied with the performance.

I'm pretty much obsessed with cleaning lint out of the dryer. This is fantastic!I used to stick my small hands down to retrieve built up tissue and lint. It was a challenge and I couldn't get too far down in the compartment. This is the ideal size and length to reach far down and clean everything.

Product works well, removing most of the dust/lint in the first 30 inches of the dryer's vent system. A longer hose may be needed if there is dust/lint beyond the first 30 inches. The long brush is handy to loosen up lint/dust in the nooks and crannies, especially, in our case, around the backside of the moisture sensors.One potential downside is that if your vacuum is very powerful, AC plugged-in unit, the narrow tube can produce a very high-pitched screeching sound that could be difficult to tolerate. To reduce this noise, you can reduce the power if the vacuum cleaner has an adjustable vent valve on the handle, while still maintaining sufficient suction . If not, you may need to just use a lower power vacuum cleaner such as a battery-powered unit.Also, be aware of this tube may be too thick to get pass the vent opening. This model has a thickness of 0.85" (unspecified on website), thicker than some other models on Amazon which are touted to be only 0,73". In any case, measure your vent opening to ensure that this tube can fit through.
