This is a fantastic little stereo. The aux connection seems to give a much louder recording, but the Bluetooth and remote are much easier when recording and digitizing music. I placed my stereo in a corner of room, and I am pleased with the sound. I love this so much I am going to order another. I have also found that I can use usb and SD cards larger than 8 gig by partitioning into 32 gb sections and formatting as FAT32 on my laptop. The stereo only seems to find the first partition, but the remaining disc space can be used for other functions. The smart thing would probably be to only use 32 gb cards/usbs.Another note: you can digitize modes not listed in instructions. Just give it a try. Also you can copy entire usb to sd cards and vice versa, but it takes a while. About 30 to 45 minutes for 32 gb of data.

Just had my room redesigned as a lounge: The "Suite Sound Lounge." I had one almost like it; this has Bluetooth capabilities and a remote. The sound is great.

My husband and I have researched these record players that have the capability of playing 78, 33, & 45 rpm records for a long while. We finally settled on this model and have been quite pleased with it. Because I had seen reviews stating that other shoppers had received models with cosmetic damages even though the shipping container had no sign of damages I went over ours very carefully when it arrived. It was in pristine condition. The sound quality is good, I am sure for a person with a fine tuned and well trained ear the sound would prove to be lacking. But for us it is quite good and clear. The only negative that I have is that the playing arm of the record player is rather delicate and I would have liked for it to be much more "beefy" Because of how delicate it is I have made the rule that my grandchildren will not use it, but, will request that either I or my husband put on and start up any records that they want to hear. This is a BIG disappointment for me because we stayed in a downtown Hilton Hotel in Nashville last year with some of the grandchildren and each room was equipped with a simple record player and a stack of 33 rpm records. It was a BIG hit with the children! I was surprised at how much enjoyment the children experienced from playing those old records! Of course at first they did not even know what the record player or records were. But after explanations & demonstrations they started to play record after record, both sides all the way through. When they had finished the stack that was in the room they took some to the lobby where they could exchange those for others! What a great idea and one of our grandsons actually opted to stay in the room to play records while the rest of us went swimming!So ORCC I would especially request that you consider beefing up that player arm & assembly!!! That fragile player arm is why I only gave it a 4!

I brought this device primarily to play old records I had and wanted also a CD player and a radio. I disagree with the reviews that said the sound wasn’t particularly good. I suspect those reviewers were looking for sound similar to what you would get with an expensive Sound system.The sound is strong and excellent, the CD player also has nice sound as does the radio. The unhappy reviewers I believe are looking for a unit that has multiple controls to vary the type of sound you get. This is a wonderful player that replaced a long lived turn table that finally died. It does not have multiple controls but who cares when you get this quality for a good price. I highly recommend it.

I ran into several issues with this piece of audio equipment.1. The sound quality is marginal from the small side speakers. I tried to use the RCA plugs in back of the unit to use my own stereo system for sound output, but all I got was very distorted sound. My system works great with all the other components I have plugged into it.2. The cassette tape player is very noisy. I thought it might be my test tape, but it did it on all of the tapes I tried. The sound was loud enough to hear over the music five feet away.3. I tried to record an MP3 off an LP, but it would not read my new thumb drive.4. The CD player eject button didn't always eject the CD. Something must be wrong with the controls.5. Most alarmingly, I had been trying different media on the unit for about an hour and it just totally shut down. I could not get the power back on. I tried various receptacles that I know worked but to no avail.Anyway, I have only had it for two hours now and I am already asking for my money back.

I bought one for my mother and she loves it so I got another for myself. The one for myself had a glitch that their customer service took care of right away. It's great for people with older forms of audio that want to have access to tapes, cds, records in one attractive piece. The sound quality is very good too. Recommend based on the product itself and the seller.
