Size down or according to Amazon recommendations. The suit is the most comfortable and flattering I have found. I will not return a swimsuit and ordered my normal size. Had to order a smaller size but it’s worth the double order for me. Love the duit

According to the size chart the 16w is a US 18 but this bathing suit is a little too tight, so it makes it uncomfortable to wear. The quality feels good, the material feels good, and it's not see-through, big plus there. It also comes with removable pads.My issue with this bathing suit is the tummy control, it doesn't seem to do anything for me. It seems to be like any other bathing suit.I washed and dried the bathing suit. It didn’t help loosen it up but on the plus side it didn’t seem to shrink either. The removeable pads stayed in place and didn't bunch up while going through its washing and drying cycle.

This bathing suit is so flattering!! I’m heavy on bottom it snaps everything into place. True tummy control. I’m a true size 18 and absolutely perfect felt sexy and confident. I want more colors.

This is a really nice bathing suit. I am a size 18, and ordered an XXL. In other Aqua Eve suits the XXL fits me perfectly. This suit is a "tad" smaller. I am not going to get a bigger size though, because this will do fine. God bum and bust coverage. I am big busted, and the suit shows some cleavage, but not spilling out.
