This item was purchsed for a village hall so that people could play music from their smartphones or laptops through the hall sound system. So easy to install and exceptional sound quality. A very good little device.

Connected to Bluetooth headset easily.Irritating message morning and night when it tries to connect to last device. Had to pull out the power to it.

Bloody thing wakes you up if not turned off at the mains!

This BT transmitter works well. It is set up to link two sets of headphones with our TV (LG oled) via the optical audio output, replacing our RF wireless headphone system. My wife (hearing only in one ear) wanted an earbud headphone; and it was important for us to have the least amount of delay in audio. The Avantree transmitter claims low latency, and for this you need headphones and earbuds which have Aptx LL (low latency) technology. Now we have almost perfect lipsync, meaning, very acceptable lag in audio reaching our ears. When the two headphones are connected, the lag or latency increases very slightly, again for us, acceptable. The range of the Avantree transmitter is remarkable. With headphones or earbuds in position, we can wander around the house, our out in the garden, easily 30m from source, depending on concrete walls and floors, with clear sound. Pairing is simple, and once paired, headphones connect as soon as switched on. We power the transmitter via USB cable from a mains plug. Very satisfied with this product, both the wearer of the in-ear earbud (Aukey) and the headphones (Avantree Audition Pro).

Living in a poor reception area, I wanted a way of retransmitting radio 4 from freeview to two Bluetooth enabled radios. Sort of works but needs to be reconnected with one radio every time.
