Great simple way to start making mead at home. Comes with everything you need to start and works well.

So im coming back to review this some odd 4 months after buying.....we'll worth it.If you're looking to get into brewing mead this is the best kit I've found. The only thing it doesn't come with are the ingredients.Ive currently got 5 gallons of various meads at various stages of done and I still use this equipment every time. Personally its set a standard of the kind and quality of equipment I like and use.Only down side I could even possibly say is that the siphon hose is egregiously long. Which isn't even a problem I mind having.

Great product for the price.

When I opened this mead making kit for the first time, I found that the included funnel was broken. I reached out to the customer service by email immediately to notify them of the damage. After a few days, I had kind of figured that they would not respond. To my surprise, within a week, I received a package in the mail with a replacement funnel and a handwritten note from Bold I'land. WOW! I began my first batch and reached out the customer service people again, by email, as I had some concerns with the process in their included recipe. I got a response within hours with encouragement, support, and advice to trust the process. I have reached out to them a total of 3 times and each time they have been incredibly prompt in their responses and very helpful and encouraging. I highly recommend Bold I'land!

Started my first Batch of mead shortly after receipt of the kit. Found the instructions to be very clear and easy to follow. Didn’t need any hardware outside of what came with the kit, although a beer/wine thief would have been a nice adder. Anxiously awaiting the results in 2-3 months.Only issue I had was finding out how to use the auto-siphon and bottle filler…. Nothing in the accompanying literature about that… but not a big deal, lots of resources on-line.Make sure and buy a second 1-gallon jug and bottles for your end product.

Seems like a really nice kit over all. I bought this a few months ago and finally made my first batch. I only have one complaint, my funnel and hydrometer were both broken when I opened the box. I’ll still leave a good review though!

So beyond pleased with this company! Already got my mead going the kit is an awesome starter kit for sure!When I got my pkg I found the hydrometer weighted end broken messaged them and got a new one sent literally same day and received it a few days later!!Thank you so much for getting right on the issue and taking care of it eof it quickly now to wait it out and hope I did it all right!!

I've been brewing for about 8 years and this is the first time I've had a airlock go into a fermenter.... and it happened on the first use.Welp... time for the trash can.
