Woodland ScenicsN Scale Ready Landform Tunnel Curved 10 Wide x 16-1/2" Long

The media could not be loaded. The tunnel arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Nothing had fallen off as some have mentioned. And despite a puncture in the box, and not the best packing, the tunnel was undamaged. I immediately set it up on my N scale railroad setup I am building, and it added some much needed depth, detail, and dimension. I had also purchased the small rocky ridge, (C1321), by Woodland Scenics, and the two together look very nice. With some weathering for the tunnel entrances and maybe some trees added later on, this will be an excellent addition to the layout. If your table surface is un-even as mine is, or maybe the tunnel isn't as flat as it could be, some small panel nails, or some hot glue in a couple spots will hold it down nicely.

Fantastic Tunnel. great quality and looks real

Pay attention to scale. I entered HO scale in the search bar, so I assumed my results would all be HO. I should know better. I modified this to make it work with my HO set but it took some creativity. It is a nice looking piece. The only negative thing I can say about the tunnel itself is that it is a very thin material. It could easily be damaged by children or pets. If you're looking for a tunnel for an N scale train and don't have small children or large pets, then I recommend it.

Fits perfectly on my small n scale track!

We needed a tunnel for our train tracks and all of our battery powered trains, so ordered this one. it's a good size and fits well, but the moss seems to get everywhere. We finally had to stop using it b/c we had green stuff all over our floor constantly.

Delivered as described

In short, I would rate this tunnel as "okay". Certainly, is it one of the less expensive prefab tunnel decorations that I've seen for model railroads, and for the money, I don't think it's a bad deal. It seems to fit my son's "N" scale train set fine, and he is happy with it. I think a serious model railroader would find the detail a little on the plain side. For instance, the imprint of the stone entrance/exit is very shallow and doesn't look too realistic. My biggest complaint, and I've seen it addressed in other reviews, is how the "foilage" tends to shed off the tunnel. For someone who intends on placing it and not moving it, it would probably not be a big issue. For my son, however, who is constantly re-arranging his track and decorations, it is a mess. I know part of this problem is the nature of the actual artificial plant material, but it would be nice if it stayed where it belongs better. I tried spraying it with a matte clear sealant, thinking it might stick the green stuff in place, but it didn't help. In the end, I rubbed a lot of the extra material off, down to the base layer, which was stuck a little better. It decreased the looks, but there isn't green fluff all over the place now.

This is a cool tunnel. The only thins is that the openings are not big enough. I have the car carrier freight car and it's too tall to get through. So I had to cut out the openings wider and higher. Other than that, I would buy it again.
