We have been using these for a while and am very satisfied with the quality of the peppercorns - especially considering that these were the best value of any alternatives. Also, we prefer getting them in a bag rather than an big plastic bottle for less waste.

I buy pepper in bulk to put on holes in my yard so my dogs won't dig. This is a great strategy. The pepper has been most successful in this endeavor.

These are simple, Tellicherry, black peppercorns. Therefore, the equation is simply price/quantity = value. This was the best value I could find for this fundamental spice. Good job Amazon Grocery.

My spouse is particular about his pepper, so we had a, um, pepper-off with six varieties. These won first place and the price is reasonable, too.

Minus 1 star for packaging, its quite messy dispensing this into a jar, little balls everywhere.4 stars for flavor and everything else. Super fresh peppercorn. I use this both for cooking and as table aide pepper. Nothing really compares to freshly ground pepper so much flavor with a hint of spicy.The bag seals nicely, id ultimately like to see this have a pour spout with screw on lid. Would make dispensing and filling in to jars so much easier (funnels dont work that well doable but annoying)The amount you get lasts a decent while and because its full peppercorn it stays fresh (weve all had that stale barely noticable pre-ground pepper, blah)You get the texture you want through a grinder anywhere from super fine to big and coarse for show.Because this is fresh the heat level is more intense then pre-ground pepper, add a lot of some extra spicy flavor or a little to get a proper peper taste.

I had heard Jacques Pepin talk about Tellicherry Pepper but never saw any. The corns are all similar in size and are great whole for pickling or in a grinder or even better crushed up for pepper steak. Very aromatic and the resealable bag ensures freshness. Much better quality than the little grocery store packets.
