My AC fan propeller was either not starting to spin sometimes or would randomly stop spinning while AC was going. Changed out its capacitor with this new one and my AC has been kicking ass ever since!

The fan stopped working on my Amana air conditioner. This capacitor matched the specs of the old one, and I tested it with a multimeter when it came and it checked out. It works well and seems to be well made. This is a good way to save a lot of money on an HVAC repair.

Simple to install.1. Shut off power to outside unit.2. Discharge old capacitor by contacting each pair of terminals with insulated screwdriver.3. Exchange wires from old to new capacitor.One star lost due to shipment delay.NOTE: Most will have only 4 wires. My pics show old capacitor with additional yellow to compressor (HERM) and extra red to common (C) terminals from HardStart.
