It is my first season using the cover, so not sure about the extended durability, but it definitely appears sturdy enough to last out at least a year, so for the price I feel like I will get my money's worth. Water and sunlight get through without issue, and no caterpillars on my cabbage and broccoli like in year's past. It even provided some modest protection from an unexpected early frost, I had several kinds of really young seedlings in the garden, others in my community garden lost all theirs at that time, but mine were unaffected.

I wanted to find something to put over our cabbage plants to protect from bugs/moths and this works wonderfully. The nylon-type sheer fabric has a bit of give to it that does not tear or come apart easily. (Our barn cats climbed up this and though they left claw marks where they were at, the fabric held up great.) The edges of the fabric are not bound, but are more like it was cut from a larger bolt of fabric - no big deal. I gathered the excess at the ends and put boards and bricks all around this planting area to keep the fabric down and secured. I can easily water through the fabric and the plant leaves have only the holes that were present before I put the fabric cover on, keeping all unwanted bugs out. Love the price point and functionality of this fabric. This size would generously cover a 4x8 raised bed, or a few of them if cut into shorter lengths. Recommended.

It tears easily and lets in little bugs! Get the black netting instead! Wish I knew before wasting my money.

Bought this netting to protect my small dappled willow tree from the anticipated cicada infestation. The netting was easy to handle and very good quality. I was able to cover the tree with no problems.

First and Second picture cherry trees, third picture Nectarine tree, fourth picture grape vines. Even though the material helps to protect the fruits, in a way it is kind of flimsy the wasps have a tendency to spread the fiber with their feet and make a hole. Putting two layers of cover helps, giving the fruit enough time to mature.

We used this netting in the garden this year to cover our cabbages as they grew from seedling to large heads. We used it to keep the white butterflies from laying eggs on the cabbage. It worked perfect!! We had no worms in our cabbage!!! You have to hold the netting down with 2X4s though!!! We rolled it up and will use it next year again!
