Worked well for our purposes :)
Seems to work just fine. We used it only once with water from a pretty clear creek, but we didn’t get sick at all. So I m glad I had it.

Water Purification Tablets
In the name of self-preservation, 2-3 years ago, I began storing tap water in thoroughly washed out former milk gallon jugs "just in case". Additionally, as a precaution, I thought it best to have water purification tablets on hand as needed for drinking water. To date, such emergency has not occurred, but am comforted knowing these tablets are on hand to purify my drinking water in the future. No tablets are needed for cooking, washing dishes, laundry, etc. Great to take camping, too! So, no need to use these tablets to date. Helen G. -- 6.27.2025

Everyone should have at least this small supply for emercencies.
Giving 5 star because it is inexpensive for an emergency supply. Store in car and hope to never have to use. I did research reviews, and others seem to think they work well using water from a stream without getting sick.

They clear water to drinkable within 30 minutes or less in a 5 gallon container (this is from my own personal experience using these tablets). Compact in a durable little bottle kept in a safe place.
