Great product

I purchased this product on the recommendation of a fellow Amazon reviewer who, like I, was installing a MASTERLOCK Garage Protector. I’d no previous experience of using Anchorset so didn’t know what to expect but I can honestly say it saved me from a very embarrassing and potentially costly situation. Having followed the instructions meticulously for installing the MASTERLOCK Garage Protector I deviated slightly by filling the holes, drilled in the concrete floor to take the rawl-bolts that fastened the base-plate of the Protector to the garage floor, with Anchorset. I also smeared the bottom of the base-plate with Anchorset. Then, having tightened the rawl-bolts to fasten the plate to the concrete, I followed Masterlock’s recommendation of smashing the supplied ball-bearings into the heads of the two rawl-bolts (to prevent someone using an allen-key to undo the bolts. Not that they could anyway as both rawl-bolts are inaccessible once the Protector is in place). I had reservations of carrying out this last stage of the installation as once started there was no going back! Of course the inevitable happened my well tightened rawl-bolts became loose. I was stuffed! All I could do was rely on the Anchorset to do its job. I needn’t have worried though. The next day nothing would have moved that base-plate, except probably a pneumatic drill! The Anchorset had literally set as hard as the concrete the base-plate was fastened to.I can therefore thoroughly recommend this product without reservation.One thing, however, you’d be well advised to purchase a spare set of replacement nozzles along with the Anchorset as once used the nozzle supplied cannot be used at a later date. It remains to be seen whether the resin left in the tube remains useable at a later date!

An excellent product. Used it to secure stainless steel studs in concrete steps to secure handrail posts. Gelled in 10 minutes and set rock solid in 30 minutes in cold conditions ( 5 deg C). Warmed the cartridge to room temperature inside before using it outside - was easy to squeeze out of the tube using the Everbuild professional cartridge gun.The product is excellent but I am only giving it 4 stars because the mixing nozzle was delivered smashed in the packaging - fortunately I had ordered two tubes so could use the other mixing nozzle for the job.

Used this chemical anchor to set a wooden post back onto my front steps. The post bolts had got disconnected from the step brickwork due to frost damage. So cleaned up the bolt holes in the brickwork and cleaned up the post with existing bolts still securely attached. Then used this chemical anchor to fill the holes up in the brickwork as well as few other frost cracks in that area. Coated the section of post and brick wall with a few lines too and slid the post back into position. Felt sturdy after only 10 minutes holding in place. But then propped the post in place for a few hours to ensure it had set fully. Rock solid now. Very impressed.As others had said in reviews. Just get everything ready and cleaned up first as this stuff goes off fast when you start to mix it.

Used this product to anchor bolts into pre- drilled holes in Indian stone to secure a large free standing post box. It worked a treat and set very fast. Item arrived before estimated date however, the nozzle was cracked 10cm from the end on arrival, luckily it didn't affect the job I was doing as the hole I was filling was over 10 wide

Need more mixing tubes if you don't use it all at once as I didn't and it set solid which is great

This stuff is great for fixing anchor bolts in concrete, it does exactly what it was designed to do, but beware - there is a shelf life to this stuff - 12 months from manufacture. The tube I bought in April had a use by date of May! Hence only three stars for the seller CTPaints, the Anchorset itself gets five stars.
