TYR Adult Wrinkle Free Silicone Swim Cap for Drag Reduction and Hair Protection

In 40+ years of swimming this is THE BEST RACING CAP I have ever had. My skull is oval any every other cap forms a wave of wrinkles on the top. No big deal training. With regular silicon caps I have a rooster comb on top at the end of every workout, not what I want in a race. Wear it for all distances from 50 yard sprints to 10K races and it has never come off. It fits snug on head so may not work well for anyone with long hair. Not a problem for me :) Have used for 3 years now. Works great.

I recently tried the TYR Adult Wrinkle-Free Swim Cap in silicone, and while it has some great features, I found it a bit uncomfortable. Here’s my experience:Pros:• Durable Material: The silicone material is sturdy and feels like it will last. It’s resistant to tears, and I don’t have to worry about it stretching out over time.• Wrinkle-Free Design: The cap does live up to its claim of being wrinkle-free, providing a smooth fit over the head. It feels secure and helps keep hair out of the way while swimming.• Good Water Protection: It does a decent job of keeping my hair dry and prevents water from getting inside the cap, which is great for long swims.Cons:• Too Tight & too small : The biggest issue I had with this swim cap is that it’s just too tight. It feels uncomfortable after wearing it for a while, especially around the forehead and the back of the head. Even though it’s supposed to be “easy,” the fit is too snug for comfort, and it leaves marks on my skin.• Not Ideal for Larger Heads: If you have a larger head or a lot of hair, this cap might be a bit too tight to be comfortable for extended use. It may work better for those with smaller head sizes.Overall: While the TYR Adult Wrinkle-Free Swim Cap is made from high-quality silicone and offers great functionality in terms of keeping hair dry and providing a secure fit, the tightness makes it less than ideal for comfort. It may work better for people with smaller heads or those who don’t mind a snug fit, but I personally found it too tight for long-term use.

Great quality! I am cold plunger and not a swimmer. I have bought 2 other caps from a differnt company and both of them broke/ripped about 11 months later. The tickness of this cap is night and day better than the other brand I bought.

This cap is just fine, it tends to slide up off my head more frequently and quicker than other caps. I bought the speedo swim cap and I find myself reaching for that one way more than this one.

I was able to get the cap on. Started swimming laps. Then the cap started to slide off my head. The water got underneath. The silicone was too slippery that it slit off. Not sure if this happened to others. Not my first time using cap. My previous cap was different than this one, which was thinner

This swim cap was fine, unfortunately it didn’t work for me with my medium length hair. I had to return it and purchase one for longer hair.
